October, 29th 2010 Leoco’s new HDMI 1.4 cable was formally approved by HDMI.org. The HDMI organization was founded by various tier 1 corporations of multimedia to set trends in the digital realm which consumers are so used to today.
HDMI.org which oversees all adopters of the HDMI technology had set forth guidelines to insure the intergrety of their technology throughout the industry. Leoco as an adopter submitted its own designed cables to HDMI.org for testing. Subsiquestly all requirment to become a true adopter was met and a certification of compliance and rights to use the technology was awarded to Leoco.
